La Vigie de l'eau, a science and technology centre based in France, wanted to showcase the Meuse, a European river that flows through France, Belgium and the Netherlands into the North Sea. To reach out to young people, CREO helped produce an interactive, multi-player adventure housed on the GAME FOR SCIENCE platform, co-created by students from Québec and France. A virtual scavenger hunt has students explore real sites bordering the St. Lawrence (Québec) and Meuse (France) rivers. Their mission: gather objects and clues to solve major problems threatening the Peka river’s biodiversity.
