To raise students’ awareness about sexually transmitted and blood-borne infections (STBBI) and encourage them to consult a doctor, the Ministère de la Santé et des Services sociaux joined with Tel-jeunes and CREO to co-create a unique educational experience that ties in to the science and technology program. Players become doctors seeing patients and trying to earn their trust. Co-created with École Dalbé-Viau students, the activity is based on the youngsters’ ideas and pre-conceived notions on the subject. A teaching guide accompanies classroom use of the game.
